Robert has a Biochemistry and Physiology degree and a Masters in Clinical Chemistry. He started out working as a Clinical Biochemist in the NHS, but I transitioned into Clinical Research in 1993 and has spent most of that time in Clinical Operations.
He started his career in the industry as a CRA and then moved into Project Management and on into various Clinical Operations Management roles in a variety of companies, both CROs and Pharma organisations.
A lot of his roles have involved a training element or helping people to develop and learn new skills, and he has also had a couple of specific training roles during his career thus far. He has been at BI since 2015, initially as a local trainer within QM and now in his current role as Global Clinical Operations Learning Manager
Robert is married with two children, Siena (18) and Thomas (14). We live in Cold Ash, just outside Newbury in the UK. I have a season ticket for Reading FC football club and enjoy skiing very much – we try to go every year.
