Koen Nauwelaerts holds a master's degree in Pharmacy from Leuven University and a PhD in Drug Development from the same university. Further, he obtained an MBA degree from Vlerick Business school.
During his professional life, he worked in different roles in Regulatory Affairs and Quality within the Pharmaceutical industry. Before joining Bayer as head of regulatory affairs and quality for the Belgium/Luxemburg region, he has been active in MSD and Medicines for Europe.
Besides his current role as Head of Regulatory Affairs BeLux, Koen leads the internal global e-labelling initiatives at Bayer.
