Annemieke den Boer studied Biomedical Sciences at Leiden University in the Netherlands. In 2005 Annemieke started working as a CRA within the pharmaceutical industry. She has been working in clinical research in different roles (e.g. CRA, Project Manager, Project Compliance Manager) within a variation of therapeutic areas including Cardiology, Oncology and Infectious Diseases. Since 2019, she is working as a freelancer offering all-round clinical research expertise including (global) study start-up activities, project management, compliance management and SOP development. She provides services to pharmaceutical and biotech companies but also to CRO’s and (academic) hospitals. Training and coaching have been integrated in her day-to-day activities as Project Manager and other roles throughout her career.
