With a master in Veterinary Medicine, and after a couple of years of experience as an independent veterinarian, Katrien started her career in Clinical Research in 2005. 

Clinical operations expertise was built as CRA at Parexel, study manager at Roche and study delivery lead at GSK, leading to a leadership position at Galapagos. After heading Clinical Operations/ and Clinical Study Leaders team, she took on a new challenge and developed the company's TMF processes, launched a new TMF system and built a dedicated team. After all, the Trial Master File is key in each and every trail. Decent, clear and focused training turned out to be her real added value and an essential step in the successful implementation. 

Because she cares and helping others is her main motivation, she is currently working in a humanitarian organization, while still maintaining the link with the clinical research world by providing training.
