Roman is a PhD graduate in Organic Chemistry from the Technical University of Vienna. He has 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in various global project management and leadership roles in Clinical Data Management, Clinical Innovation management, process development / improvement, and implementation of electronic systems for Clinical trials. He also worked in the IT and telecom industry, and gathered experience as a manager of a GMP production plant.

During his career he has built extensive knowledge in global, cross-functional, cross-cultural projects, strategic alliances and partnerships, Sponsor oversight processes, and has a strong interest in digitization and emerging technologies.
