Marleen Verbeeck is a clinical research professional with a career spanning nearly three decades, beginning in 1995. Following her academic career in scientific research, she built a strong foundation in clinical research, initially working as a Clinical Research Associate and later as a medical writer and trainer. From 2004 until her retirement in 2024, she served as a trainer at ECCRT. In this role, she trained professionals from multinational and small pharmaceutical and medical device companies, universities, and non-profit research organizations across Europe, the United States, and the Middle East. Marleen has extensive experience in developing, delivering, evaluating, and assessing training programs. Throughout her career, she continuously expanded her educational expertise by exploring and implementing innovative learning techniques in both classroom and virtual environments. She is the author of numerous scientific papers, clinical trial study protocols, and final study reports (Phase I–IV). Her therapeutic area experience includes gastroenterology, central nervous system disorders, rheumatology, oncology, and immunotherapy.
