ICH GCP E6 (R3) Training for FSP and Platform Teams
Client case study · ICH GCP E6 (R3)
One standard,
many projects.
How Enovalife trained its embedded clinical teams on ICH GCP E6 (R3) — without pulling them off client work.
The challenge
An FSP has a training problem an in-house team doesn’t: your specialists work across other organisations, under different SOPs and different readings of the same guideline. Three constraints had to be considered to certify Enovalife platform staff on R3:
- R3 is a restructure, not a refresh. New core principles, risk-based quality management, data governance, a new annex structure. Experienced staff needed the delta, not a beginner’s course.
- Consistency is the product. Two specialists on two projects reading the same clause differently erodes exactly what clients are buying.
- Billable time is the constraint. Nobody could be released en masse, and the day had to land the first time.
What ECCRT delivered
- Three tailored 1-day classroom sessions across 2026, in Brussels, in-house — so teams attended in rotation while client delivery continued uninterrupted.
- A full-day curriculum on the 11 core principles of E6 (R3), sponsor and investigator responsibilities, informed consent, risk-based quality management, data governance and TMF.
- Discussion and real-world cases, not lecture. For a mixed-experience room, that format is what surfaces differing interpretations — and resolves them.
- Certificates on the ECCRT Virtual Campus, giving Enovalife a retrievable record for clients and any future inspection.
The results
“The practical discussions and case-based examples were the most valuable part of the training. I particularly appreciated exchanging experiences and learning how different team members interpret and apply the guidelines in their daily practice.”
Why this model works for FSP & platform organisations
Bring them into one room, on purpose
The highest-value output wasn’t the slide deck — it was specialists from different projects discovering they read the same clause differently, and reconciling it live. eLearning cannot manufacture that.
Split the cohorts, not the curriculum
Three separate days meant no client engagement lost its team, and every cohort still got the full programme. The scheduling flexes; the content doesn’t.
Have the evidence ready in advance
Certification held on the Virtual Campus is proof you can hand over on request — to clients and to inspectors.
